Stardom has not changed Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, nor the things he values the most. He remains the grounded individual he's always been before and after his rise to notoriety.
It didn't take long for Burrow to become a national representative of Cincinnati, and his answer as to what he loves most about the city is why he's fit for the title.
"It's the people," Burrow said during his Wednesday presser. "That's why I love Ohio, the people are great. Down to Earth, humble, hard working, just made of the right stuff. I love the people here and that's kind of what makes Ohio, Ohio."
Needless to say, the people of Cincinnati enjoy him as well.
The Queen City (no, not Charlotte, NC) has never been a flashy metropolis, and that's not for everyone. Burrow may've put himself on the map while at LSU, but the AFC Offensive Player of Week 8 was raised right where he is now.
Burrow takes residence in Southwest Ohio, and the folks of Southeast Ohio can properly claim him as their own. He spent almost all of his childhood living in Athens County, and lived in Columbus for three years attending Ohio State.
Three different areas of Ohio have embraced Burrow as one with the community, and it's no surprise for the 26-year old to return the favor.
The national spotlight will be on him and the Bengals this week when the Buffalo Bills come to town for Sunday Night Football.

No. 9 is fully back, and the NFL has been put on notice.
