The list of Bengals players from the Marvin Lewis era still on the team continues to shrink as defensive tackle Josh Tupou is officially on a new club.

Tupou joined the Baltimore Ravens this week, per the team's official X/Twitter.

An undrafted free agent out of Colorado all the way back in 2017, Tupou lasted as one of 14 holdovers from the previous coaching regime on the 2021 Super Bowl squad.

After going back and forth from the practice squad to the active roster as a rookie and playing a combined seven games during his first two seasons, Tupou earned a larger role as an interior lineman in Lou Anarumo's scheme in 2019.

The momentum Tupou generated that year came to a screeching halt when the COVID-19 pandemic emerged. Tupou became one of the Bengals' lone opt-outs for the season, but he was able to rejoin the team for the magical 2021 season. He played in all 17 regular season games that year.

Cincinnati re-signed Tupou during the 2022 offseason to a two-year deal and made the roster for both years. He finished his Bengals career with 86 tackles, six tackles for loss, two sacks, and one forced fumble in 65 games played.

The Bengals opted to enact heavy turnover at Tupou's position this offseason as DJ Reader left in free agency as well. Rookies Kris Jenkins and McKinnley Jackson join veteran free agent addition Sheldon Rankins as the new pieces to the puzzle to strengthen the position group.

Free agency also saw a former Ravens player, Geno Stone, join the Bengals to become the starting free safety. Tupou may've joined the opposite side, but he may not make the Week 1 roster.

Tupou's former defensive line teammate, Sam Hubbard, is the last remaining veteran on the Bengals who played under Lewis.
