Our month-long nightmare is over as Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has officially returned to practice with 10 days remaining until the regular season opener against the Cleveland Browns.

Burrow has missed practice since suffering a mild grade calf strain 34 days ago on July 27. Head coach Zac Taylor originally stated that Burrow would be out for several weeks. The exact number was just under five weeks.

While he hasn't been suited up to practice since last month, Burrow has been doing plenty of throwing and training since then. The one time he chose to do it publicly was right before the team's first preseason game against the Green Bay Packers on August 11.

Burrow looked good back then, and he looks good right now. Any and all doubt about No. 9 playing in Week 1 against the Cleveland Browns can be thrown out the window now. The team would still like to sign him to a multi-year extension before then as well.
