"The window's my whole career," Joe Burrow told reporters days prior to the Cincinnati Bengals' playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens. "Our window is always open."

When I heard that from Burrow, I felt the same thing that Bengals fans – and all NFL fans, really – felt. Pure respect for the confidence of the kid. This guy believes it. And he keeps finding ways to back it up.

This time he did so early in the third quarter. Already down two starting offensive linemen, the Bengals lost left tackle Jonah Williams to a knee injury. At that time, as the scrappy Ravens kept the game close, it felt like Burrow was going to have to deal with a nightmare of a situation.

He fought through it. As he put together a 12-play, 83-yard touchdown drive, it didn't even look like Burrow was under pressure. He fired consecutive passes to Ja'Marr Chase; one for ten yards and another for 19.

Then, he found Bengals tight end Hayden Hurst for an 18-yard gain to the one-yard line to set up a successful QB sneak for a touchdown.

Although his numbers don't look like much (he passed for 209 yards averaging only 6.5 yards per attempt), Burrow completed over 70% of his pass attempts and finished with a quite decent 99.6 passer rating.

Make no mistake about it, the defense was the story of the game for the Bengals. They stepped up with two takeaways, including Sam Hubbard's epic 98-yard fumble recovery that resulted in seven points in a seven-point win.

But Joe Burrow, even with two starting offensive linemen on deck showed up for the Bengals once more.

In the process, he made a little bit of history for the Cincinnati Bengals. He became the quarterback with the most wins in franchise history with four. He'll want to add much more over the next few games.

To do so, he'll have plenty of adversity to overcome. But he said it best. That doesn't matter. With him, the window is always open for the Bengals.
