Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is already one of the best players in the NFL.
But that doesn't mean he's immune from turning into an internet meme.
The former LSU star will try to avoid joining a long list of celebrities/athletes who have turned into memes this week when he throws out the first pitch at the Cincinnati Reds' season-opener.
Burrow is obviously a great athlete. But if he messes up the first pitch — and it's easy to do when you get one pitch and you're in front of a huge crowd — he'll be immortalized alongside first-pitch disasters like 50 Cent, Michael Jordan and Carl Lewis.
No pressure, right?
Though let's be honest — if I had to bet, I'd go with Burrow throwing a perfect strike down the middle.
The rising NFL superstar doesn't seem to be impacted by pressure situations. And he's a great all-around athlete (Burrow was a basketball star in high school and played baseball until he reached high school).
I'm sure Burrow will nail the first pitch.
But if for some reason he doesn't, he better be prepared to see the replay of it ad nauseam for the next 15 years.
