A few years ago, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was a little-known backup quarterback with the Ohio State Buckeyes.

After a transfer to LSU, a memorable national championship run, and a Super Bowl appearance, Burrow has gone from unknown to superstar.

Burrow's ascent over the last few years has included a new friend group for the former Heisman Trophy winner (not that he's ditching his old friends — like the ones he plays video games with — that's not his style).

We saw Burrow become friends with singer Kid Cudi, one of his favorite musicians, after the Super Bowl last season.

Burrow can now add another celebrity musician to his list of famous friends.

The former LSU star told reporters on Wednesday that he met up with rapper Jack Harlow over the weekend in Columbus.

Louisville’s Jack Harlow performed songs from his latest album Come Home the Kids Miss You as well as others as the 24-year-old closed out the first day of the 2022 Forecastle Festival Friday at Waterfront Park. “I used to sneak into Forecastle” as a kid, Harlow confessed to the crowd. This isn't a surprise. Burrow is one of the most popular athletes in the country right now. And not only is he popular, but he's also probably the smoothest quarterback in the NFL.

It's no surprise that everyone wants to be Joe Burrow's friend.

Harlow certainly won't be the last celebrity to cook up a friendship with Burrow.
