Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow caused The Carton Show's Craig Carton to lose his mind this week.

Carton, the well-known former WFAN talk show host, went off during his FS1 show on Thursday morning over New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers giving Burrow some advice about his calf injury.

Rodgers told Pat McAfee earlier this week that he reached out to Burrow after the Bengals' win against the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football.

Carton seems to think that Burrow and Rodgers having a conversation is the worst thing that happened in sports this week. And he seems extremely annoyed that people are interested in Burrow's injury.

"I really don't want to do this next week," said Carton. "Who's he calling next week? Vinny Testaverde? Hey Dan Marino, what did you do?!?!"

Calm down, Craig. Rodgers just shared some insight with one of the top young quarterbacks in the league. And Burrow just wanted some advice from a future Hall of Famer that's dealt with similar issues.

And anyway, it's not like Rodgers is preparing for a game right now.

I guess the New York media doesn't have much to talk about with Rodgers sidelined and Zach Wilson continuing to look like a total disaster for the Jets.
