The emergence of rookie sixth-round draft pick Andrei Iosivas has been one of the brighter stories of Cincinnati Bengals training camp. The irony being that as his name became more well-known, many fans still didn't know how to pronounce his name.

Bengals' left tackle and investigative reporter Orlando Brown Jr. got to the bottom of it in the locker room, first asking fellow teammates for the pronunciation before getting straight to the source.

The answer? "Yo-see-vash."

Yo as in "yo what's up," see as in "I see you," and the "a" in "vash" sounds like "ah."

Iosivas.

Born in Japan to a Filipino mother and a Romanian father, Iosivas' background is as unique as his name. He went on to become a two-sport star at Princeton, becoming a heptathlon champion in track and field, and a team captain in football.

The least we can all do is say his name correctly. NFL announcers should take note as well, they may be saying his name with consistency before long. In his preseason debut, Iosivas caught four of his 10 targets (six were deemed catchable by Pro Football Focus) for 50 yards.

The Bengals will want to continue testing Iosivas during his first preseason to get him ready as depth behind stars Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd, so expect another busy day for the rookie on Friday when the Bengals take on the Atlanta Falcons.
