The Cincinnati Bengals wrapped up their second practice ahead of Week 12’s game against the New England Patriots, and everyone in the NFL is talking about who’s going to play quarterback for the orange and black.

Let’s take a look at the team’s second injury report of the week.

Observations

  • Joe Burrow (toe) was a full participant in practice again for the second consecutive day. If there was any doubt about him being able to go full on back-to-back days just two months after turf toe surgery, he successfully erased it. Tee Higgins noted his quarterback looked good in practice as well, and feels like Burrow may very well play.

Cincinnati is unlikely to announce whether or not Burrow will be playing until the weekend, even if he were to go full on Friday as well. All of this could be preparing him to play Thanksgiving night next week against the Baltimore Ravens, but he’s on track to playing Sunday nevertheless.

  • Daijahn Anthony (hamstring) and Mike Gesicki (pectoral) were full participants once again. Both players, along with Burrow, are still on the Reserve/Injured list as of now.
  • Cedric Johnson (ankle) went full after he was limited Wednesday, and Jalen Rivers (knee/ankle) went limited after not practicing at all the day prior. Rivers has been the offense’s starting right guard since Week 4. Johnson would be set to play significant snaps as one of the first defensive ends off the bench once more after playing 29 last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
  • Trey Hendrickson (hip/pelvis), Samaje Perine (ankle), Cam Sample (oblique), and Cam Taylor-Britt (foot) all remain out. Taylor-Britt is still on track for I.R. with a Linsfranc injury.
