Six-year old Brixton Woods had one wish after spending 156 straight days in the hospital battling Acute myeloid leukemia: Spend a day with Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase.
Not a bad wish to make.
Now in remission, "Brix" was able to fly out from Georgetown, TX with his family to catch a Bengals practice this offseason, and he got a whole lot more than that.
The young Brixton, who bravely fought off a shocking cancer diagnosis just months prior, got to meet his idol in Chase, score a touchdown in Paycor Stadium, and even got some tips to improve his "Griddy."
Houston native and former Texas A&M star Trayveon Williams, whose jersey was also hanging up in Woods' hospital room, was also there to make his day that much more special as a part of ESPN's My Wish series.
Chase may only be 23 years young, but he's already achieved star status in Cincinnati. Brix is just one of many kids from around the country who idolize his passion and play style.
It's nothing short of heartwarming to see him make a young fan's dream come true so perfectly.
