Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is already viewed as one of the top players in the NFL, despite the fact he's played less than two full professional seasons.

Burrow received a lot of hype this offseason from outside of Ohio and Louisiana (where he starred in college at LSU) due to leading the Bengals to the Super Bowl this past season.

Cincinnati came up short against the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LVI. The loss was obviously disappointing for the Bengals, but the fact the team was even there was insane. Cincinnati was 4-11-1 in 2020. Just making the playoffs in 2021 would've been a huge sign of progress for the franchise. Going to the Super Bowl, however, proved that Burrow is the real deal.

Unsurprisingly, there are some folks out there who feel like we're crowning Burrow a bit too early. I get it — he's young and he's still got a lot to prove.

But at the same time, I don't know how we could possibly downplay what Burrow has already accomplished in his short career.

This tweet puts Burrow's accomplishments into perspective. And man, it's impressive.

Nearly every team in the NFL — outside of a select few — is looking for what the Bengals have — a young, confident quarterback who can instantly turn a franchise around.

Burrow's accomplishments this past season — all while playing behind one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL — have the former LSU star on a Hall of Fame trajectory already.

Yes, it's way too early to be saying that, but I'm not sure how we can look at Burrow's career so far and come away with a different takeaway.
