The Cincinnati Bengals are 0-2 after losing 20-17 to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
It's the second straight week that Cincinnati has lost on a walk-off field goal.
If that's not painful, I don't know what is.
To make matters worse, the Bengals made history on Sunday because of their loss to the Cowboys.
According to ESPN, Cincinnati is the first team in the Super Bowl era to start 0-2 despite being seven-point favorites in each of their first two games.
That's absolutely brutal.
The Bengals entered the season with massive expectations after making a surprise Super Bowl run last season.
But after this 0-2 start, they're going to have to turn the ship around quickly if they're going to repeat their success from last season.
The good news for Cincinnati is that every other team in the AFC North also lost on Sunday. So the Bengals are currently just one game out of first place in the division, despite the 0-2 start.
Cincinnati can still get to where they want to go this season. They just need to turn things around quickly.
They can start next Sunday against the New York Jets. I hate to say a game in week three is a must-win, but the Bengals' matchup against New York might qualify.
