It's not even officially fall yet, and the Cincinnati Bengals are essentially in must-win territory. Again. After another 0-2 start to the season, the Bengals will host the Washington Commanders on "Monday Night Football" to close out NFL Week 3. 

It's going to be a special night in Cincinnati regardless of the final score. A couple of Bengals legends will be immortalized in front of a full crowd for the team's fourth annual Ring of Honor induction. Having primetime games early in the season over the last few years has given the club great opportunities to make the most out of a special occasion.

Ring of Honor

This week, the Cincinnati Bengals officially enshrine franchise greats Corey Dillon and Tim Krumrie into the team's Ring of Honor. Dillon and Krumrie are the ninth and 10th inductees since the inaugural class of 2021. The ceremony will take place at halftime, and a taping of it can be found on the Bengals' YouTube page.

There's a possibility for wet conditions during the first night game of Cincinnati's season. There's current a 15% chance of rain at 9:00pm Cincinnati time, approximately 45 minutes after kickoff. There's a 20% chance of rainfall all throughout most of the day leading up to the game as well. 

Bengals vs Commanders history

These two teams have played 11 games dating back to 1970, with the Bengals losing the first-ever game between the two clubs, 20-0. This is also the first game the Bengals have hosted the Commanders in Cincinnati since 2008. Their 2016 matchup was played in London. The all-time series is tied at 5-5-1. Washington was victorious the last time both teams met as it was the game Joe Burrow suffered a season-ending knee injury in 2020.
