NFL superstar Ja’Marr Chase goes viral for making a hilarious offer to a player on ARC Raiders
The Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver streams himself playing videogames, and he’s been playing the popular videogame ARC Raiders.
What would you do if Cincinnati Bengals All-Pro wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase offered you season tickets? Despite frustrations with the team’s direction, I’m betting just about every member of Who Dey Nation would immediately accept.
But when it comes to ARC Raiders—the popular videogame that recently won Multiplayer Game of the Year—you never know what’s going to happen. Chase, who streams himself playing videogames, learned that the hard way earlier this week.
Chase goes viral for ARC Raiders interaction
In a clip that’s amassed over two million views on X alone, Chase offers a random player season tickets. The only thing the fan needed to do? Revive him.
But here’s the thing about ARC Raiders: It’s an extraction shooter where other player’s loot is often what you desire the most. And if an enemy is already “downed,” (which means he can’t do anything unless wait for someone to revive him or be fully knocked out) it’s only natural for opposing players to go for the loot. Or as diehard players of the game call it, “goop.”
Not to mention, reviving players who are not on your team requires using a “defib,” which you need to craft or buy in the game. Thus, it’s not often you use them to help random players. Long story short: Chase was facing an uphill battle from the start, which led to his hefty offer.
“Somebody defib me bro,” Chase says int he viral clip. “I could give you season ticket holder (tickets) bro, come on.”
When the rival player approaches him to “knock him out,” Chase’s pleads transition into yelling: “Defib me, bro, I can give you tickets for the whole season, bro, wait!”
You can see the whole clip in the X post embedded below. To those who play ARC Raiders, the experience is a relatable one. Part of what has made the game so popular is the random interactions that you will inevitably come across in each match.
Chase’s offer leads to online jokes about Bengals
Who even knows if whoever was on the receiving end of Chase’s offer is a football fan or not. But the clip led to plenty of mockery of the Bengals online. These are some of the zings on X:
“Not worth it knock him out.”
“Revive me or I’ll spit in your face’- Ja’Marr Chase”
“Must of have been playing against his offensive line..”
“To the Bengals? Defib and shoot em again.”
Yeah. It’s not easy for the Bengals out there. Whether it’s on the football field or topside in ARC Raiders.
Chase, an All-Pro wide receiver and a five-time Pro Bowler, finished the 2025 season with 125 catches for 1,412 yards and eight touchdowns. He led the league in targets for the second year in a row.
