While he's getting plenty of attention for his comments about the Kansas City Chiefs' defense, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase has a very real chance of playing on Sunday's game.

Chase went limited for the second practice in a row and his game status will be decided sometime before kickoff, according to head coach Zac Taylor.

"We'll see," Taylor told media members. "Take it over the next 48 hours."

Taylor also addressed what Chase had to say about Kansas City's defense, affirming it's not what he would say, but also respecting Chase's confidence as a player and for doing things the right way.

"I always want to be respectful of our opponent," Taylor said. "Especially an opponent that does things the right way. They're very talented, they're well-coached. They pose a lot of issues. They are a really good football team. That’s how I think about it."

Chase's status is ultimately up in the air, but Taylor confirmed cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt and tight end Mitchell Wilcox are good to go for Sunday. Taylor-Britt was cleared to practice Wednesday after spending four weeks on the Reserve/Injured list. Wilcox popped up on the injury report Thursday with a foot injury.

Officially, Chase is questionable along with cornerback Jalen Davis (groin), whom was limited all week. Running back Joe Mixon was limited Friday with an ankle injury, but wasn't given an status label for Sunday.
