Despite their 0-2 start to the season, the Cincinnati Bengals are tied for first in the AFC North after week four.

The Bengals were the only AFC North team to win this week. Every other AFC North team lost on Sunday.

(Strangely, each AFC North team that played on Sunday lost while scoring 20 points. The Ravens lost 23-20, the Browns lost 23-20, and the Steelers lost 24-20.)

Early on Sunday, it looked like the Ravens were poised to go to 3-1 after taking an early lead against the Buffalo Bills.

The Ravens blew a 20-3 lead in part because head coach John Harbaugh opted to not kick a field goal when the game was tied.

Before the collapse, the Ravens looked like they might be ready to become the team to beat in the AFC North. But after the collapse, this looks like the Bengals' division to win.

And not only did Baltimore collapse, but they looked like a team that has plenty of drama to deal with moving forward.

Ravens defensive back Marcus Peters had to be held back from Harbaugh at one point.

If Baltimore is going to implode like that, then the Bengals should cruise to another AFC North division title. The Ravens were the only real threat to Cincy in the division.

The Browns didn't look great against a bad Falcons team on Sunday. And the Steelers' offense has been a disaster through four weeks.

Now that the Bengals seem to be hitting their stride after an early season freakout, there's little doubt that the AFC North runs through Cincinnati.

It's yet another reason why we shouldn't jump to conclusions just a week or two into the season. The Bengals are going to be a big factor once again when playoff time rolls around.
