The Cincinnati Bengals have been proactive in free agency this offseason, signing three offensive linemen to big deals to help protect franchise quarterback Joe Burrow.

Cincinnati, however, still has some holes on the roster to fill.

Specifically, the Bengals need to add another cornerback (that's not too expensive) to the roster.

Pro Football Network agrees as they suggested that Cincinnati should sign cornerback Kevin King to a free-agent deal.

From Pro Football Network:

CB Kevin King. Much like Eli Apple last season, King needs a fresh start on a new squad. King and Apple could battle on their respective one-year deals for the starting cornerback spot opposite Chidobe Awuzie.

King, who will turn 27 later this spring, has missed 16 games over the last two years. Signing King to a one-year prove-it deal to compete with Eli Apple would certainly make a lot of sense for Cincinnati.

Apple has loads of potential, but he struggled at times last season. The former Ohio State standout had a 60.9 Pro Football Focus grade. He also allowed 60.3 percent of passes thrown at him to be completed.

Bringing King in could provide Apple with some competition and make both players better.

And that's always a good thing.
