Zac Taylor has been the head coach of the Cincinnati Bengals for the last four seasons. His first two were rough as the Bengals won just six games combined.

The last two years have been quite lovely for Taylor in Cincinnati. Taylor's Bengals have made back-to-back AFC Championship Game appearances including a Super Bowl berth in 2021, the organization's first since 1988.

Taylor has guided the Bengals to be one of the NFL's best teams and has moved his name up the ranks of the league's best coaches. The marriage between himself and the Bengals is working out immensely, and Taylor made a recent comment that made his feelings clear on where he stands in terms of his long-term future in Cincinnati.

"They're gonna have to carry me out of here in a casket," said Taylor, via Emily DeLetter of the Cincinnati Enquirer. "I love it. Just specifically, Cincinnati. It's a really good fit for my family and myself, and the other coaches, and the owners, and (Bengals director of player personnel) Duke Tobin. I just can't imagine myself anywhere else. They'll have to kick me out of here."

Now that's loyalty to the fullest.

The talent on the Bengals' roster certainly helps with Taylor's feelings. Quarterback Joe Burrow has transformed himself into one of the best at his position in the league. His weapons are plentiful, highlighted by a three-headed monster at wide receiver in Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd. Also, running back Joe Mixon gives the Bengals offense production on the ground and through the air.

Cincinnati finished 16th in total defense in 2022, the middle of the pack. However, they were fifth in points allowed which is the most important stat there is on defense.

Finding a solid and steady NFL head coach can be a long process in some cases. Taylor has morphed into that for the Bengals, and if he has his way, nobody will able to talk about Cincinnati without mentioning his name for a long time.
