It is another division opponent this week for the Cleveland Browns. In Week 4, the Browns will welcome in the Baltimore Ravens for their first matchup of the season.

Like the Browns, the Ravens come in at 2-1 with a game lost that they probably shouldn’t have. Last week, the Ravens fell to Gardner Minshew and the Indianapolis Colts in overtime.

This will be Cleveland’s third AFC North game within the first four weeks. With a win and a Pittsburgh Steelers loss, the Browns would have an early first-place spot in the division.

Going up against the Ravens is always a task. They have athletes, they’re well-coached, and their special teams perform.

With that being said, I have three players specifically that need to have a good game in Week 4 for the Browns to come out on top.

LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah

When the Browns drafted JOK a couple of years ago, many labeled him as a ‘Lamar stopper’ right away. It wasn’t such a bad thing, he is a quick twitch, rangy linebacker after all. This season so far, the Notre Dame product is playing some of his best ball. Owusu-Koramoah is getting running backs at or behind the line of scrimmage with suitable defensive line play in front of him. That will need to be the case against the Ravens, who will look to run the ball whether it’s Jackson or Gus Edwards.

CB Greg Newsome II

The Ravens improved their wide receiver room, so they now have more weapons you have to worry about. Newsome should be able to go this week and if he can, I’d like to see him matched up with rookie wide receiver Zay Flowers. Flowers has been very impressive to start the season and someone the Browns are going to have to account for. After missing Week 3 against the Tennessee Titans, Newsome will be needed this week.

QB Deshaun Watson

Was last week an outlier, or is Watson back? That much will be answered over the next few games. After not turning the ball over against the Titans while going 27-for-33 with o two touchdowns, Cleveland’s quarterback needs to build off of it. Going out and doing it against a division opponent would put a lot more belief into No. 4.
