3 players the Cleveland Browns can still sign in free agency following a big investment in the offensive line to start

The Cleveland Browns still have several free agents who make sense to bring in following three days of negotiations.

We’ve made it through three full days of free agents around the NFL being able to agree to contracts with teams. For the Cleveland Browns, it’s been all about the offensive side of the football for the most part.

Cleveland needed to revamp its offensive line with all five players set to be free agents. The Browns started by trading for OT Tytus Howard last week, then signed G Zion Johnson after legal tampering opened. Cleveland re-signed G Teven Jenkins and added C Elgton Jenkins.

With the new league year started, there are still a few players out there who could make sense for the Browns.

LT Rasheed Walker

Walker was the top left tackle free agent and is still unsigned. Still being available bodes well for what a team will end up having to pay him. What looked like could be north of $20 million a season on a contract, is probably a bit lower on a multi-year deal.

Cleveland looks to have a solid plan in place with its offensive line for four of five spots. Left tackle is the last option and while it could be filled through the draft, the Browns could sign Walker and draft the best player available at No. 6 overall.

RB Rachaad White

Either Dylan Sampson needs to take a big step in Year 2 or the Browns have to add a running back to complement Quinshon Judkins. The Browns’ run game should be much better in 2026, but Judkins can’t be counted on for almost all of the work once again.

White has starting experience, as well as experience in a rotation of running backs. A good pass catcher who recorded 549 and 393 yards receiving during the 2023 and 2024 seasons. If White isn’t back with the Buccaneers, I wouldn’t mind the Browns trying to bring him in. A clear upgrade for what the offense can do.

CB Martin Emerson Jr.

The former Brown has not been signed yet and it could make sense for him to return to familiar grounds to be boundary cornerback depth for the Browns. Cleveland always misses Denzel Ward for a couple of games a season typically, and Emerson could be ideal to fill in for him or Tyson Campbell.

Emerson missed all of 2025 with an Achilles injury and will need to show his value again in 2026 to have any chance at a multi-year deal.
