The Cleveland Browns have a major offseason ahead of them, and it starts next week with the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Cleveland looks to have hit on a great draft haul a year ago, but they need to do it again if they want to speed up this rebuild. The Browns have the makings of an elite defense, but their struggling offense held them back during a 5-12 2025 campaign.

There’s going to be plenty of ways the Browns can go in the draft, and here’s another in the latest 3-round mock here at A to Z Sports

Browns find a big-time playmaker in the first round

The three picks that were made for the Browns go as follows:

Round 1, Pick 6: Spencer Fano, OT, Utah

Round 1, Pick 24: Makai Lemon, WR, USC

Round 2, Pick 39: Keith Abney, CB, Louisville

Round 3, Pick 70: Connor Lew, C, Auburn

The Browns going with three of their first four picks on the offensive side of the ball wouldn’t surprise anyone. Cleveland needs to put major reinforcements on that side of the ball, especially the offensive line.

Makai Lemon is the highlight of a strong four picks

Lemon is my favorite pick of this haul for the Browns. The former Trojan was the Biletenkoff winner in 2025 after going for 79 catches, 1,156 receiving yards, and 11 receiving touchdowns. Lemon is a big-time playmaker when he gets the ball in his hands, and he has a knack for getting open. Lemon may not have the blazing speed, but he doesn’t need it. Jaxon Smith-Njigba wins in a similar way and we just saw him put together one of the best receiving seasons ever.

Adding Fano in the class is another strong pick for the Browns, and a player who will be plugged in on the offensive line Day 1. Fano has a chance to be a tackle, and if not he projects as a very good guard. The Browns need tackle and guard help, so Fano is a strong pick either way.

Denzel Ward isn’t getting younger and the concussion issues in the past will always be a worry with him. Tyson Campbell was a nice addition at the position for the Browns last year, but they need to inject some more youth into the room for the future.

This year’s NFL draft will take place in Pittsburgh from April 23-25, and that’ll be a key three-day stretch this offseason for Cleveland.
