NFL free agency begins today with teams allowed to agree to terms with free agents before officially signing them after Wednesday.

The Cleveland Browns are entering a very important stretch of a couple of months where they will be reshaping their roster. Between free agency and the NFL draft, the Browns have to make significant changes to their offense

Before free agency begins at noon ET, let’s dive into the latest mock draft.

Browns get better in the latest 4-round 2026 NFL Mock Draft

Travis May here at A to Z Sports did a full 4-round mock draft that improves the Browns, but comes with a couple of questionable picks.

Round 1, Pick 6: Francis Mauigoa, OT, Miami

Round 1, Pick 24: KC Concepcion, WR, Texas A&M

Round 2, Pick 39: Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, S, Toledo

Round 3, Pick 70: Germie Bernard, WR, Alabama

Round 4, Pick 107: Malik Muhammad, CB, Texas

Breaking down the latest Browns’ mock draft

Mauigoa is a right tackle and the Browns just traded for Tytus Howard to man that position. However, Mauigoa projects as a very good guard if he doesn’t play tackle. Mauigoa has long-term starter potential at guard, but a high pick on him to play inside probably wouldn’t sit well with folks. Still, he’d find a spot to start for the Browns.

The Browns need more playmakers on the offense to join Harold Fannin Jr., Jerry Jeudy, and Quinshon Judkins. Concepcion would give Cleveland a player who is a real threat to blow the top off the defense with the ball in his hands. Concepcion to Cleveland late in the first round is definitely a possibility.

Toledo’s recent ability to produce a decent amount of NFL talent is impressive and McNeil-Warren is the latest. Cleveland plans to bring back Ronnie Hickman and Grant Delpit remains in the picture, but McNiel-Warren gives you a potential eventual upgrade in the room. My only thing is that the Browns could probably go in a different direction with a bigger need for this pick.

Drafting Bernard would give the Browns another young wideout who produced in the SEC and could battle for playing time right away. There isn’t a lot written in stone with the Browns’ wide receiver room, so throwing young players at it should be the move.

Lastly, the Browns are probably going to let Martin Emerson Jr. walk, so adding boundary depth at cornerback needs to happen. Denzel Ward isn’t getting any younger and despite adding Tyson Campbell, the Browns need to continue adding new cornerbacks.
