Cleveland Browns have made some roster adjustments before the real preparation begins for the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4.

Running back Deon Jackson and tight end Devin Asiasi were signed to the Browns’ practice squad, the team announced. In corresponding moves, the team released defensive tackle Trysten Hill and running back Hassan Hall from the practice squad.

Some folks may recognize Jackson right away, as he did start in Week 1 for the Indianapolis Colts at running back. Jackson is a third-year undrafted free agent out of Duke who has played in 27 career games.

Last season with the Colts, Jackson had 236 rushing yards in 16 games (2 starts), to go along with a touchdown. He has 14 yards on 13 runs this season, so it’s easy to see why he was a free agent with the recent results.

Asiasi is a third-round pick of the Patriots in 2020 who played in just seven games over two seasons with them. The Bengals had Asiasi active for 12 games in 2022 and he played 23 percent of the offensive and special teams snaps.

Through his career thus far, the 6-foot-3 257-pound Asiasi has 44 receiving yards and a touchdown on four catches.

Out of the two players, expect Jackson to have the best chance to be active with just Jerome Ford, Kareem Hunt, and Pierre Strong Jr. on the team.
