Cleveland Browns are faced with a rare opportunity in Week 18 that this franchise has hardly had.

Being able to rest starters in the final week with the playoffs secured is unheard of in Cleveland. But it is the likely approach the Browns will take with a lot of players in Cincinnati against the Bengals on Sunday.

Joe Flacco is in an interesting situation that could force him to be out there for at least a play. Flacco has money tied to each game he plays with the franchise and they win.

Flacco has started the last five games for Cleveland and they’ve all been wins for the Browns besides one. For each win, Flacco secured $75k and the money escalates for the deeper Cleveland can go in the playoffs.

Undoubtedly, Flacco has struck a spark in this team that they needed. Cleveland won’t do wrong by him, so they may even award him the money without him really playing in the game.

The expectation is that Cleveland will start P.J. Walker against the Bengals and newly signed Jeff Driskel will be his backup. Either way, the Browns have a decision to make on Flacco playing at all.
