The Cleveland Browns will be heading into free agency with some clear needs.
One of the needs is because they have multiple defensive tackles set to be a free agent. Cleveland is going to have to add some bodies on the interior.
A to Z Sports’ own Destin Adams has the Browns selecting Braden Fiske in the third round, which would help the need that they’re going to have in the middle.
Of course, the Browns are going to add at the position in free agency. Maurice Hurst, Shelby Harris, and Jordan Elliott are pending free agents for the Browns. Cleveland is interested in bringing back both Harris and Hurst, but adding a draft pick is an intriguing option too.
Currently on the roster for the Browns are Dalvin Tomlinson and Siaki Ika in terms of defensive tackles.
Fiske is one of the biggest risers from the NFL Combine where he showed off his athletic ability. The Florida State product ran a 4.78 40-yard dash and jumped 33 1/2-inch on his vertical. When you add in a 9-foot-9 broad jump, you see an explosive player.
At Florida State in 2023, Fiske had six sacks and marched the same amount he had the year prior at Western Michigan. Fiske is a disruptive pass rusher with a high motor that Jim Schwartz would love.
