Cleveland Browns are facing a 1-3 start to the season if they don’t defeat the Raiders in Las Vegas in Week 4 of the 2024 NFL season. They will have to do it with the same injury issues they entered the season with.

The Browns ruled out left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. (knee) and right tackle Jack Conklin (hamstring) on Friday. Wills returned last week for the first time since last season but was rolled up on and re-injured. The fifth-year tackle had an MRI that came back clean but will once again be out. Conklin has not played since Week 1 of last season and may have been back already, but injured his hamstring ramping up to return.

Additionally, the Browns ruled out tight end David Njoku (ankle) and running back Pierre Strong Jr. (hamstring). It will be Njoku’s third straight game missed with the sprained ankle that he was dealt in the season opener against the Dallas Cowboys.

Unfortunately for the Browns, they will be down right guard Wyatt Teller too, who landed on the Injured Reserve with a sprained knee. Rookie guard Zak Zinter will get his first career start in his spot.

The Browns will likely roll with James Hudson starting in place of Wills. Dawand Jknes is good to go on the right side. Cleveland will have to try to slow one of the game’s best in Raiders’ Maxx Crosby and limit him all game long. Cleveland badly needs a win after falling in disappointing fashion last week.

Star defensive end Myles Garrett has been a bit beat up with injuries in the lower extremities, but he is going to tough it out and continue going. The Browns having their most important player on the field is a must after dropping two games early already.
