The Cleveland Browns are already working on getting healthy early in the 2024 season and Week 3 could be the season debut for a couple of players.

Offensive tackles Jack Conklin and Jedrick Wills Jr. are both practicing on Wednesday and could make their season debut against the New York Giants in Week 3. It would be a surprise if Conklin at least does not play since he was questionable to play last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The big worry for the Browns is with their only healthy starting offensive tackle at the moment. Dawand Jones is said to have suffered a knee injury against the Jaguars and won’t practice on Wednesday. Head coach Kevin Stefanski was not ready to speak on the injury further than today, so we could be looking at a day-to-day situation this week.

Another player who is not practicing on Wednesday is running back Pierre Strong Jr. (hamstring), who joins Njoku and Jones. The Browns will rely heavily on their duo of Jerome Ford and D’Onta Foreman for the time being and Royce Freeman was signed to the practice squad if he needs to be called up.

It does not sound like Jones’ injury is serious, but anytime you mention the knee it is a worry since he was only able to play in 11 games last season with the knee injury. James Hudson will take one tackle spot if Jones can not go and the Browns could be looking at Conklin or Wills to start at the other in their season debut.

A full injury report for both the Browns and Giants will be posted here once it is made available later today.
