Cleveland Browns have to hope all they lost against the Seattle Seahawks was a football game in Week 8.
Multiple players left the game with injuries and did not return. Those to get injured included RT Dawand Jones, CB Greg Newsome II, and DE Za’Darius Smith.
Also shaken up included DE Alex Wright and S Grant Delpit. Delpit was able to return without further issues.
The biggest worry right now would be Jones, who is dealing with a shoulder injury. Head coach Kevin Stefanski revealed after the game that he will get an MRI tomorrow on the injured shoulder. After replacing Jack Conklin in the first game of the season, the rookie has been exceptional for the Browns.
Jones was replaced by James Hudson. The loss of the rookie would be detrimental to the right side of the offensive line, so now all the Browns can do is wait and see.
Newsome was ruled out with a groin injury after halftime. The third-year cornerback gave up an early touchdown to Tyler Lockett but made a nice pass breakup later.
Smith is dealing with an undisclosed injury and was seen going into the X-ray room after the game. There will likely be more information on him available early in the week.
Now, Cleveland has to just wait and hope for the best on the injuries they suffered in Week 8.
Browns loss to the Seahawks makes one thing obvious for them
Browns have to have a change with this going forward.
