Free agency had the majority of the focus for the Cleveland Browns last week, but that look to be mostly back focused on the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft this week.

Not only are pro days ongoing right now over the next couple of weeks, but teams are also getting their top 30 visits in. The latest to surface for the Browns fits exactly what they need.

USC WR Makai Lemon met with the Cleveland Browns on Thursday

First reported by Cleveland.com’s Marty Kay Cabot, the Browns visited with Lemon out of USC on Thursday for a top-30 visit. Lemon is pictured as a top-3 wide receiver in this class, which is perhaps the biggest position of need for the Browns.

Cleveland holds the No. 6 and No. 24 picks in the first round of the draft, and if they want Lemon he’d have to be taken at one of those selections. Lemon is coming off a season at USC where he went for 1,156 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns in 2025. Lemon was a big-time impact player as a sophomore as well with 764 yards.

The Browns have now met with draft prospects Carnell Tate, Jordyn Tyson, Denzel Boston, Omar Cooper Jr., Chris Bell, and Lemon at the position. Cleveland went into free agency with huge needs along the offensive line and at wide receiver. The holes are now down to left tackle and wideout.

Lemon is a 5-foot-11 wideout who runs a high 4.4 40-yard dash and is a threat to make a big play anytime he gets the ball in his hands. Lemon makes tough catches and is great at finding space within a defense to make chunk plays. The USC wide be a big-time upgrade for the Browns who lack proven players outside of Jerry Jeudy at wide receiver.

Cleveland is doing their due diligence on the wide receiver class as a whole and looks poised to spend a premium pick at the position in late April.
