The Cleveland Browns have 10 selections in the upcoming draft, and they have various needs that they need to fill.

No need is bigger than the glaring hole at quarterback but the route the Browns go to addressing it is going to be interesting to watch.

With four picks in the first three rounds, the Browns should be looking to add needed wide receiver depth. Cleveland is set to hold a pre-draft meeting with one of the fastest wideouts in the draft.

Cleveland Browns to meet with Texas WR Isaiah Bond

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Browns are one of five teams that will meet with Texas’ Isaiah Bond next week. Along with Cleveland, Bond will meet with the Titans, Packers, Chiefs, and Bills. Interestingly enough, all of those teams are from the AFC outside of Green Bay.

As it currently stands, the Browns have Jerry Jeudy, Cedric Tillman, Jamari Thrash, David Bell, Michael Woods, DeAndre Carter, and Kaden Davis on the roster. Only Jeudy and Tillman have secure spots on the roster and the Browns need to add to the room badly.

Bond played in 27 games for Alabama between 2022 and 2023 before transferring to play for the Longhorns in 2024. The speedy wideout recorded 888 yards and five touchdowns with the Crimson Tide. In his one season with Texas, Bond caught 34 passes for 540 receiving yards and five touchdowns.

A 4.39 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine was a solid number for Bond and helped his draft stock. The 5-foot-11 wideout from Buford, Georgia has the ability to play the slot or out wide and that is versatility that the Browns could use.

As GM of the Browns, Andrew Berry hasn’t done so well drafting at the wide receiver position. It is a must again this season to select one, so it will be a key watching point during the draft.

Bond is the first wideout outside of Colorado’s Travis Hunter that the Browns are hosting for a top-30 visit. We are three weeks from the draft officially.
