April will be the final draft that the Cleveland Browns owe the Houston Texans their first-round pick for the Deshaun Watson trade.

With that being said, the Browns have met with a pair of wide receivers at the NFL Combine that they would surely need to trade up for to select.

Xavier Worthy out of Texas and Troy Franklin out of Oregon are two players that the Browns have met with, A to Z Sports can confirm.

Cleveland owns the 54th pick and Franklin and Worthy are virtually viewed as top-40 players in the draft. If Worthy can run as fast as he believes, he’s probably going in the first round. The Texas wide receiver said that the 4.22 40-time by John Ross is in jeopardy.

Worthy was a productive player right away in college who has game-breaking speed and is a threat to beat you after the catch. Much like Franklin, both players can beat you deep.

After the 2024 season, both Amari Cooper and Elijah Moore are set to be free agents. An extension with Cooper happening would not be a surprise at any time.

Trading up in the draft is an attractive option all the time and the Browns would need to do so to draft either of these playmakers. Andrew Berry has been an aggressive general manager, so nothing can be ruled out.
