Cleveland Browns just took the biggest loss they could against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday Night Football in the second quarter.

Running back Nick Chubb suffered a gruesome knee injury against the Steelers where he was immediately carted off the field and ruled out.

Chubb was playing very well with 10 carries for 64 yards going into the injury. For the Browns, this is terrible news for them if it is serious, and all signs point to it being just that.

Cleveland scored a touchdown on a Deshaun Watson pass to Jerome Ford to end the drive, but there wasn’t much celebration to follow.

The Browns drafted Nick Chubb in 2018 out of Georgia and he has at least 1,000 yards in four of his five previous seasons. Last year, it was a career-high 1,525 yards for Chubb on the ground.

Unfortunately for Chubb, the injury is to the same knee that was seriously injured in college. The Pro Bowl running back tore his MCL, PCL, and LCL in 2015.

For now, the Browns will have to roll with Ford at running back and Pierre Strong Jr. behind him. Cleveland will have decisions to make going forward about their running back room with this devastating news.
