The Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers met in Week 11 of the NFL regular season.
Several key items hung in the balance in the meeting, including staying in the race in the AFC North with no real quarterback to call upon.
However, before the game even started, Browns fans had one person to cheer on unapologetically — running back Nick Chubb.
The compacity crowd gave the Browns running back a standing ovation in his return to the stadium. Though he was still on crutches, Chubb should feel good knowing he is still appreciated by the Cleveland faithful.
Take a look at the ovation:
If you think back, Chubb's season ended when he tore his ACL and MCL in a Week 2 loss to those same Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Browns are on a mission to avenge that loss and Chubb's injury that proved an omen for the type of season the Browns would endure on the injury front.
Deshaun Watson done for the season, but that doesn’t mean the Browns will be too
The news that the Cleveland Browns’ $230-million quarterback, Deshaun Watson, would be done for the season should devastate the franchise.
