When the Cleveland Browns traded for Elijah Moore, they knew he had several skills that could make a difference for the offense.

And in a year when the Browns must win, it is playmakers like Moore that will determine the success of an offense that has yet to put together a really impressive game with Deshaun Watson as the lead signal caller. On Sunday, Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski explained that he plans to use Moore all over the field.

"There's not a limit to what he can do," Stefanski said of Moore. "He's a very good outside receiver, a very good inside receiver. You can put him in the backfield, and you can put him in the Wildcat. There is no shortage of what he can do."

Stefanski has thought about utilizing Moore in a role that mimics a gadget player. His versatility allows it. And though he wouldn't tip his hand to how much Moore would take snaps directly out of the backfield as opposed to lining up at wide receiver, it is an option the Browns have at their disposal, if needed.

Praise for Moore isn't new. Seemingly everyone on the Browns' roster has had something good to say about the former New York jet.

“He’s going to be one of our, I want to say Queen on the chessboard,” Joel Bitonio said. “They can move everywhere, you know what I mean? … They want to get him the ball. They realize he’s an explosive player. He has played some running back in his past and I think they want to use our weapons. Whatever our strengths are, they want to use it.”

Amari Cooper went as far as to state that the two could be like a Super Bowl winning wide receiver duo.

“Elijah makes a lot of plays," Cooper said. "He’s a great complement to the offense, great complement to me. We’re going to be a great tandem together, you know? I think about great tandems like Torry Holt and Isaac Bruce. You know, that’s what I think we could be. We both run really good routes, both create separation. We both get open, and we’re both reliable.”

The Browns have a do-it-all player in Moore, and that may be enough for the offense to finally find some life when it matters.
