As expected, the Cleveland Browns depth is going to need to step up again in Week 15 against the Chicago Bears.

On Sunday, DE Ogbo Okoronkwo will be out with a pectoral injury and he will be joined by C Ethan Pocic, LB Jordan Kunaszyk and S Juan Thornhill.

In good news for the Browns, DT Jordan Elliott returned to practice after missing the last two in the concussion protocol. Elliott and CB Denzel Ward are questionable to play, as well as LB Anthony Walker Jr.

Okoronkwo has a pectoral injury that was thought to be season-ending, though he is now seeking a second opinion. Cleveland is without DT Mo Hurst for the rest of the season, so having Elliott would be  a big positive. The Browns expect DT Shelby Harris to see more snaps and DT Siaki Ika to soon make his NFL debut.

Before facing the Jaguars last week, Thornhill tweaked his calf in pregame warmups and was a late scratch. With him out, Cleveland is down their top two safeties because Grant Delpit (groin) is on the injured reserve. Ward practiced this week and could be back after missing the last three games with a shoulder injury.

Kevin Stefanski said on Friday that Walker tweaked something and that we’ll see in 48 hours.

Pocic had a stinger come up against the Jaguars and Nick Harris took over for him. Harris will again start for the Browns at center against the Bears. It is a hit for the Browns with LT Jedrick Wills Jr. (knee) and RT Dawand Jones (knee) on the injured reserve.
