There are some good injury updates for the Cleveland Browns ahead of their final preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Two starters are returning to practice for the Browns today in time for the last preseason game, which HC Kevin Stefanski said starters will play in.

Right tackle Jack Conklin and wide receiver will both practice today with the team in Berea.

For Conklin, he’s coming out of the concussion protocol after suffering one against in a joint practice with the Philadelphia Eagles. Conklin left early in the first of two practices with the Eagles six days ago.

During that time, rookie Dawand Jones and swing tackle James Hudson filled in for Conklin. Jones has broken onto the scene fast with a really good camp.

Moore made his debut with the Browns against the Washington Commanders and quickly made his presence felt with an 18-yard run. Unfortunately, the Browns’ newcomer left that game early with a rib injury. This past week, Moore has done some individual stuff but hasn’t practiced with the team.

In what Cleveland hopes to be a breakout year for Moore, he dodged a big bullet when the x-rays were negative on the ribs. Now, Moore should be in line to get some work in with the offense against the Chiefs.

Two good injury tidbits for the Browns to end the week and it’s a boost into next week. Anytime you can welcome back two starters on the same side of the ball, you’ll do it happily.
