Cleveland Browns have received great news to end their week on a good note.

After being evaluated for a concussion in the first quarter of last night’s preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles, S Ronnie Hickman Jr. has cleared protocol, according to the Browns.

It is welcomed news for what has been the breakout defender for the Browns this preseason.

Hickman made sure to leave his impact last night before the injury. The undrafted player out of Ohio State snatched his third interception in two games early on from Eagles QB Marcus Mariota.

This training camp has been a good one for Hickman, who has certainly made his case that he belongs on the 53-man roster. After clearing protocol, Hickman will be able to play in the final preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs, which could help his cause even more.

Good news is exactly what the Browns and Hickman received with this positive health update.
