Cedric Tillman had a solid preseason for the Cleveland Browns that has fans excited for what he can eventually be for the team.

The rookie from Tennessee has made a change before Week 1 of his rookie season that will matter to fans, too.

Tillman is changing from No. 89 to No. 19, according to the team’s first depth chart. His new number opened up following Marquise Goodwin switching from No. 19 to No. 3.

Any fans that may have a jersey with the No. 89 should have waited until the preseason is over when numbers typically change.

Notably, former Browns’ quarterback Bernie Kosar wore No. 19, as did Corey Coleman. Coleman was the last Browns’ rookie wideout to wear the number after being drafted in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

It looks to be that Tillman will be the team’s fourth wideout to start the season. It could be good for the development of the third-round pick, as he won’t be relied on heavily.

A nice little change for the rookie, who is now wearing a number that Browns fans appreciated many years ago.
