Cleveland Browns are working on finishing up their draft visits with less than two weeks to go until the 2025 NFL Draft that will be held in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Cleveland is set to make their first selection in the opening round for the first time since 2021. The Browns hitting on the No. 2 overall pick is a must after finishing 3-14 after last season.

Doing your due diligence is a key part of being successful during the draft and the Browns have done just that, meeting with prospects who they could take if they were to trade out of No. 2 overall. According to Jordan Schultz, the Browns have had a visit with Arizona WR Tetairoa McMillan, a prospect who is expected to be drafted in the top half of the first round next week.

According to NFL Mock Draft Database, McMillan is the No. 11 player taken on average and that would indeed make him a reach at No. 2 overall. If the Browns were to trade back closer to pick No. 10, it could make sense for the team to take McMillan. The 6-foot-4 wideout is a big receiver with a large catch radius and would help upgrade any wideout room that he joins.

“Every NFL offense that doesn't have a true X WR is looking for one. And in this year's draft, every team searching for it should have McMillan ranked high, if not at the top of their board. You can't teach a WR to have his elite measurables and incredible production go along with it, making him one of the top WRs in this year's draft class. His overall draft position probably comes down to the style of WR a team is targeting, but he should certainly hear his name called in the top half of the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.” — Destin Adams, A to Z Sports

Cleveland has been heavily linked to taking Colorado WR/CB Travis Hunter with the first pick, a player they view as a wideout first. The Browns clearly plan to upgrade their offense in this draft and McMillan could be one of the prospects to do that with, like Hunter.

McMillan caught 84 passes for 1,319 receiving yards and eight touchdowns last season with the Wildcats. He went for 1,402 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns as a sophomore for Arizona. Jerry Jeudy is the top wideout for the Browns and they are excited about his future after having his first 1,000-yard season. Cedric Tillnanis another player in the team’s plans.

Visiting with McMillan is an act of the Browns checking all of their boxes if they were to trade down. Nothing more, nothing less.
