Somehow it is already Week 18 of the NFL season. The regular season has gone by in a blur and today we’ll see the Cleveland Browns at the Cincinnati Bengals.

Cleveland is taking a rare approach that they haven’t taken often as a franchise. With their playoff seed locked in, the Browns are going to take this opportunity to rest players.

The Bengals 2023 campaign didn’t go as planned, so you’ll see more starters out there for them today.

Cleveland has no reason to play players like DE Myles Garrett, WR Amari Cooper, QB Joe Flacco, and CB Denzel Ward in this game. Those are just a few of the starters who shouldn’t touch the field.

On Friday, the Browns ruled out Cooper, WR Amari Cooper, S Juan Thornhill, CB Greg Newsome II, CB Mike Ford II, K Dustin Hopkins, and LB Anthony Walker Jr.

We’ve watched how the injuries have piled up for the Browns this season, so taking this opportunity to rest is a must. Even with all of the injuries, this 11-win football team has plans to make a playoff run.

Cleveland can only technically rule so many players out due to having to have 46 dressed and ready to go. You’ll see many starters dressed who won’t have to worry about getting their uniforms dirty.
