CBS has recognized as much and put their No. 2 broadcast team on the call. Ian Eagle will handle the play-by-play duties, while Charles Davis will analyze the game and give color commentary.
The top announcing crew for CBS is calling the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots matchup in Week 1. So, that means no Tony Romo and Jim Nantz for this week.
Evan Washburn joins the Bengals-Browns game as the sideline reporter who will give updates throughout the game. This specific crew was not on a Browns’ game in the 2022 season. It will be interesting to see how many games they take part in during the 2023 season.
