The Cleveland Browns are 3-10 coming out of Week 14 of the NFL season after a 31-29 loss to the Tennessee Titans. Despite leading 17-14 at halftime, the Browns were unable to pick up win No. 4 on the season.

Cleveland still sits at three wins, matching its total from last year. The play of Shedeur Sanders was a bright spot in the loss, as he threw for 364 yards and scored four total touchdowns. Unfortunately, it appears his offensive line took a major hit in the game.

Browns C Ethan Pocic may have played his last down in Cleveland

In the second half, Pocic went down with what appeared to be a leg injury, and it’s now feared to be an Achilles injury, according to Jordan Schultz. Pocic is scheduled to become a free agent after this season, following four years with the Browns.

Pocic started 16 games last season, the most he has played in a single year as a pro. The Browns added him prior to the 2022 season, and he has started all 57 games he has played for Cleveland since then. After Pocic went down, the Browns turned to backup center Luke Wypler to take over.

If the Browns move on from Pocic and choose not to bring him back in free agency, Wypler is a strong candidate to take over the starting job. Cleveland drafted Wypler in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft, and he has appeared in 18 games with two starts. Wypler missed the entire 2025 season due to injury but has appeared in every game this year in his second full season out of Ohio State.

The Browns have four games remaining to try to improve on last year’s win total. Unfortunately for the rookie Sanders, he’ll have to do it without another starting offensive lineman.
