In Week 7 against the Indianapolis Colts, the Cleveland Browns were able to squeak out a narrow win by a point.

Now, it’s been made known directly that quarterback Deshaun Watson was not ready to play that game. Watson played for less than two drives before exiting the game after hitting the ground hard.

"I wasn't 100 percent last week. I thought I was ready. (I) wasn’t ready,” Watson told the media on Thursday.

When Watson hit the ground and threw an interception that would be overturned, his head hit the turf. Many believed that was the reason that he had to come out of the game.

"The concern was the shoulder from the jump,” Watson said on that play. “I didn't know about the concussion (test)until the second time (in the blue tent). I wanted to go back in but it was a team decision."

P.J. Walker took over for Watson and finished out the game. Walker will play in his third game overall and make his second start in Seattle during Week 8, as the Browns travel to take on a sound Seahawks team.

With there being so much uncertainty around the shoulder injury and how much time he has missed, folks such as former Browns quarterback Brady Quinn have questioned Watson’s want to be out there.

"Why would I not want to play? I just worked my ass off for two years to get back,” said Watson. “I see all the narratives, all that stuff is just trying to cause controversy and commotion. I'm fine and I'm happy.

None of those national people know me. They don't talk to me. If it ain't coming from me, all that other sh** is bullsh**"

Watson is out for at least this weekend and he very well could be out longer. Sunday will be the third game has missed.
