Cleveland Browns have added an explosive 2026 NFL Draft prospect from the SEC to the list of players they’re showing heavy interest in
Cleveland is clearly going to add a big time playmaker in the 2026 NFL Draft and they’re doing due diligence toward making it happen.
The days are counting down until the 2026 NFL Draft and it’s going to be a crucial time for the Cleveland Browns. Cleveland has two first-round picks next month just a year after they looked to have taken an outstanding draft class.
Cleveland has wrapped up the majority of its free agency moves and all focus is now on finalizing the draft board. The Browns’ two biggest needs heading into the draft is left tackle and wide receiver. Cleveland badly needs to upgrade both positions to take a step forward from its 5-12 season.
Browns to meet with another top wideout in the 2026 NFL Draft
Visits and pro days are ongoing and it gives teams one last chance to meet with prospects before selections are made. Cleveland has done extensive work with wide receivers when it comes to visits, and now they’re showing interest in another. According to Ryan Fowler, the Browns will host Texas A&M WR KC Concepcion for a top-30 visit.
Concepcion is lighting in a bottle at 6-foot, 196 pounds and can house one anytime he gets the ball in his hands if he finds a crease. Concepcion is dangerous in space and his explosiveness is something the Browns could really use. As a freshman at NC State in 2023, Concepcion burst onto the scene with 839 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. He followed up his freshman season with 460 yards and six touchdowns before transferring to play for the Aggies as a junior.
This past season, Concepcion was a big-time playmaker in the SEC who went for 919 receiving yards and nine touchdowns for the Aggies. Concepcion l just adds to the list of wideouts the Browns are doing their work on. Cleveland has met with Ohio State’s Carnell Tate, USC’s Makai Lemon, Louisville’s Chris Bell, Washington’s Denzel Boston, Indiana’s Omar Cooper Jr., and Arizona State’s Jordyn Tyson.
Concepcion would be a potential target for the No. 24 overall pick for Cleveland if they want him. Even if it isn’t Concepcion, we have enough clues here around the idea the Browns will be taking a wideout in the first round to improve their offense.
