Cleveland Browns and Jacksonville Jaguars haven’t been shy trading with one another and it could make sense to happen again.

The NFL Scouting Combine begins next week and that’s when the NFL offseason is really going to ramp up. As it’s known that NFL decision makers start getting trade and free agent discussions going at the combine.

For the Cleveland Browns, there are some big months ahead where major change needs to happen to the current roster. Don’t be surprised if the Browns go the trade route to get better with a weaker draft class ahead in April.

ESPN proposes a trade that could fill one major need the Browns have

In a trade proposed by ESPN, the Browns grab a starting offensive lineman to plug into their starting lineup. The Browns send a 2026 fifth-round pick to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for OT Walker Little and a 2027 seventh-round pick.

“It doesn’t seem like Little is in Jacksonville’s plans,” Bill Barnwell wrote. “If Van Lanen is at left tackle, that would leave Robert Hainsey at center, Anton Harrison at right tackle and Mekari at one of the guard spots. The Jags could bump Little inside to replace Ezra Cleveland, who is in the final year of his deal, but third-round pick Wyatt Milum is likely to have the inside path to that role.”

Little is heading into year No. 6 as a pro in 2026 with 39 of his 70 career games being starts for the Jaguars. Little has been a starter for the last three seasons for the most part. In 2026, Little played in 12 games at left tackle and three games as a right guard. The ability to play guard and tackle should be attractive to a team like the Browns who could have five new starters along the offensive line.

Pro Football Focus gave Little a 62.7 offensive grade in 2025. Little’s best season according to PFF was 2024 when he received a 72.8 grade. In 2024, Little had 318 pass blocking reps with two sacks and 13 pressures surrendered.

Cleveland has 10 draft picks in 2025 and trading a pick or two should be on the table. The Browns’ offensive line was among the worst in the NFL last season, a big reason they were held back.

Andrew Berry has never been shy about making trades as the Browns general manager, and this could be another one that’d make sense.
