Can Cade York bounce back?
In each of the first two preseason games, K Cade York has missed a kick. This week in practice with the Eagles, he was 6-for-6 from up to 54 yards. Third times a charm they say, perhaps York makes a kick in his third preseason game.
Will Austin Watkins lead the team in receiving again?
In each of the first two preseason games, the breakout training camp ‘star’ has led the Browns in receiving. Last week, Watkins reeled in six catches for 71 yards. Now, the question is if he can complete the trifecta. A fun little thing to watch in this exhibition.
3 Players to watch
- QB Dorian Thompson Robinson: The rookie has bursted onto the scene onto the preseason and is set to make his first start. Expect DTR to play at least a half and if he has the same success as he did in the first two games, things will be working well for the offense.
- DT Maurice Hurst: It is looking like to me that Hurst is that fourth guy in the defensive tackle room. He’s battling with Tommy Togiai and Trysten Hill in terms of depth and is leading the way. Hurst should start this game with the starters resting.
- S Ronnie Hickman: Coming off of a two interception game, Hickman is simply must watched. The undrafted free agent out of Ohio State has a chance to make the roster. This game against the Eagles gives him another chance to really help his cause.
