It is the preseason home opener for the Cleveland Browns tonight!

How will Jacoby Brissett play against old team?
One of the cool storylines for this one is Jacoby Brissett returning back to Cleveland. Brissett started 11 games last season for the Browns and was quite the fan favorite. The veteran quarterback is expected to back up Sam Howell, so Browns’ fans will get to see him in action on the opposite side this time.
Will Cade York bounce back?
The second-year kicker did not start off the preseason on a good note against the New York Jets. He missed his first kick of the year, which immediately gives a bad impression. After a solid week of practice, it’ll be interesting to see if it can carry over into tonight.
3 Players to watch
• Dorian Thompson-Robinson
In the first preseason game of the year for the NFL, Dorian Thompson-Robinson led a comeback for the Browns against the New York Jets. The rookie helped Cleveland outscore the Jets in the second half, 14-0 and tossed a touchdown pass in the process.
DTR may just be the excitement of the preseason for the Browns. His ability to create with his legs is there and he showed a nice pocket presence in his first bit of action when he went 8-for-11 passing. The dual-threat quarterback took off six times for 36 rushing yards.
Unless the sky falls for Cleveland in 2023, their rookie quarterback won’t see the field this season. So, enjoying him now in the preseason isn’t such a bad idea.
• Isaiah McGuire
With the recent rash of injuries on the edge, there is an opportunity for someone else to step up. That guy could be McGuire, who is a rookie out of Missouri. McGuire was productive in the SEC and it makes him all that much more intriguing.
McGuire won’t need to be the first rotational pass rusher or anything this season. But if he can be a capable guy off the edge as a rookie when called upon, that’s a win. With Alex Wright and Isaiah Thomas out, the rookie could step up and take that fourth spot in the rotation.
• Austin Watkins
Watkins is getting more popular by the day during his time with the Browns. The unheralded rising gem caught a touchdown pass in the first preseason game against the Jets and has stood out in camp. Watkins' size at 6-foot-3 is intriguing to the Browns and he has the chance to show he at least should be on the practice squad. Another good outing for Watkins would be huge for his chances.
