Cleveland Browns will take the win in Week 7 but surely hoped it would have gone better for the starting quarterback.

Deshaun Watson returned for just about eight minutes before leaving the game and not coming back. The Browns still managed to narrowly escape the Colts, 39-38, but now have a quarterback injury to monitor. Watson was cleared of a concussion after his head bounced off the ground, but head coach Kevin Stefanski made the choice to hold him out.

"My job is to make tough decisions,” Stefanski said after the game. “I just felt like I wanted to protect him."

Watson was just 1-for-5 with an interception during the time he did play. P.J. Walker entered the game and finished 15-for-32 for 178 yards and an interception. Walker has not played well in his first two appearances with the Browns but they’ve gotten it done.

Looking forward to next week, the Browns will play in Seattle in what will be a tough game against the Seahawks.

“I'd expect Deshaun,” Stefanski said on who would be the starter. “If everything clears, he's our starter on Wednesday (when practice resumes)."

Watson himself admitted the shoulder injury is why he left the game, the concussion check was initiated after.

“I’m praying that it isn’t anything worse,” Watson said of the shoulder.

Like it always is, the quarterback position will be worth monitoring throughout next week for the Browns.
