Today was supposed to be a big day for Jakeem Grant Sr. in his long awaited debut with the Cleveland Browns.

On the first play of the game, Grant suffered an apparent serious knee injury and was taken off on a cart following a kickoff return. The Browns immediately ruled Grant out for the game.

After an Achilles injury during last training camp, Grant was forced to miss the entire 2022 season. Grant had worked hard to get back on the field to get to this point.

The All-Pro returner was in line to handle all kicks for the Browns this year and seemed to be a lock for the 53-man roster.

One of the most unfortunate things you will see, as Grant seemed to know it was serious, as he was visibly very upset.

AtoZ will update with any news on Grant and the severity of the injury when it becomes available.
