Cleveland Browns are once again battling the injury bug in Week 7 and the attention remains on the quarterback.

Despite talking to the media for the first time since he suffered his right shoulder injury, Deshaun Watson did not practice on Wednesday. It is the first day of the week when the Browns begin preparation for the Indianapolis Colts today.

Additionally, tight end Harrison Bryant (hip), running back Kareem Hunt (thigh), cornerback Greg Newsome II (hamstring), and linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. (concussion) did not practice.

If Watson is not able to go against the Colts, it will be P.J. Walker starting again, confirmed Kevin Stefanski on Wednesday. Watson’s injury is still ‘day-to-day’.

Hunt and Bryant are a bit banged up from the 49ers game but should be able to practice later in the week. Soft tissue injuries remain an issue for Newsome.

Walker left the game against the 49ers last week with a head injury and was later ruled out. He remains in concussion protocol and his status to go up against his former team in Week 7 is in doubt.
